Awww... They're really not. Have you ever gone diving with them? It's a lot of fun! And totally safe. I dive in Monterey Bay, California, and see loads of lepoard sharks and occasionally some big seven-gill sharks. They really don't care about humans. Out of the 400 species of shark, only less than 10 could potentially harm a person, and it's usually a fright response or mistaken identity. We're the ones they should be afraid of.
I totally agree with you Adrielle. I used to go diving in Mexico and the sharks out there are doing their own thing even when you enter their environment, but I personally like the thought of vicious beasts prowling in the deep blue!
